Exciting new 2 day portrait drawing workshop!

Day 1 - Explore the structure and proportions of the head and face using the Loomis method and a few other techniques. There is a focus on practicing on various head shapes and how to develop a likeness. This will include key considerations of facial features and how shadow shapes can help drive the process. Day 1 will be run by Wayne Van Eyk.

Day 2 build on the Loomis Method approach, and apply it as a starting point for a dramatic, tonal, loose charcoal drawing! Reference photos will be provided to practice the charcoal technique, before completing your loose charcoal portrait from a live sitting by our lovely model Elisabeth. The 2nd day will be run by Isabella Allis
