A wonderful guided walk around London followed by a fabulous Sunday roast dinner, what's not to love! This walk is around secret Victoria.
Secret Victoria – meet fascinating characters from the past and present while discovering hidden areas around Victoria Street followed by a fab Sunday Roast.
On this wonderful walking tour, led by qualified guide Kathleen Lucey, we take the streets running parallel to Victoria Street to uncover how the area has changed in some 250 years of history, and the fascinating characters behind the changes.
On the way you’ll hear about how Westminster Cathedral was built, famous alumni of Westminster City School, a hidden “onion” garden and its inspirational creator, the resting place of the only man to attempt to steal the Crown Jewels, how the Suffragettes secured votes for women, Churchill and his secret army of spies and dirty tricks in WWII, London’s first skyscraper, and more.
You’ll enter places you wouldn’t think you could, and uncover hidden oasis of calm.
At the end of the walk we will retire to a London Club for a Sunday Roast. This is optional, so please let us know when booking if you are coming for the Roast. The cost of the Roast is £12 per person payable on the day (please note the cost of the Sunday Roast is not included in the price of the walking tour ticket).
