Dreyfoos School of the Arts Pulse Percussion Concert, A Showcase of Rhythm

Details
Join us for an exciting show of entirely percussive music at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, one of the country's premier arts magnet high schools. We'll be treated to a wide variety of unusual as well as familiar rhythm instruments such as drums, marimbas, xylophones, rainsticks, maracas, chimes, gongs, didgeridoos, cowbells, cymbals, triangles and sambago bells. In addtion to percussionists from Dreyfoos' symphonic band, wind ensemble, and chamber music group, the show also includes students from Bak Middle School of the Arts.
Tickets are just $11 and must be ordered in advance. I'm handling this for our group. Message me or email me about it. You'll be on the Waitlist until you've paid. We'll be able to sit together in our own section of the intimate 160-seat Brandt Black Box Theater.
The school is one block north of Kravis Center and there's ample free parking in its fenced-in lot. After the show we can go for refreshments at a nearby restaurant.
This is a multi-group Meetup. Ours is sponsored by Walls R Us Painting.
