“Sol Feminino” (Feminine Sun) is born from the vibrant convergence of four creative languages—painting, illustration, design, and fashion—to celebrate the many incarnations of the feminine as a sacred, generative force. Under the sign of the Sun, a cross‑cultural emblem of energy, renewal, and fullness, this group exhibition brings together four artists whose work channels the archetype of the Goddess in flames:

☀️ Filipa Brandão (Pipas Brandão), whose illustration overflows with earthy and golden pigments, exploring the female body in meditative, expansive gestures—visual relics of a myth ever renewed.

🌞 Rais de Lis (Sol Ilustração), fusing delicate linework with radiant hues to weave graphic narratives in which ancestral women and goddesses dance around symbols of healing and resistance.

🌄 Yael Art, an emerging painter in oil and acrylic, unfolding silhouettes and moments in solar textures that clothe the body with memories of matriarchy and hope.

🎨 oh_chiko, a renowned painter whose bold brushstrokes and luminous color fields invoke the transformative power of light itself.

As you move through the Gallery Hostel Porto’s exhibition space, you are invited into dreamlike realms: canvases hinting at mysterious rituals; illustrations verging on oracle‑like visions; design objects that call to mind talismans; garments that pay homage to lunar and solar cycles.

“Sol Feminino” proposes an immersive experience where the sacred and the profane intertwine across disciplines, challenging us to recognize and honor the sources of light within each of us—beyond fixed identities and conventions.

Opening July 5, 2025, and on view through September 18, “Sol Feminino” offers a sensory and reflective journey into what it means, today, to inhabit a world in feminine pulsation.
