For the third edition of Tell Me Wine, we dive into the world of Champagne— but not the names you already know. This time, we’re uncorking the secrets of three remarkable small producers who are turning heads across Europe with their expressive, elegant wines, racking up accolades from Guide Hachette, Gault & Millau, the Lyon Gold Medal, and more.
While still flying under the radar here in the Netherlands, their bottles are gaining momentum—and prices are quietly rising. This tasting is a rare opportunity to discover them before they become collector’s items.
🍾 Carole Noizet (Saint-Thierry)
Three generations of savoir-faire meet impeccable terroir just outside Reims. With a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, Noizet crafts Champagne with precision, patience, and purity. Despite its award-winning profile, this house remains a hidden gem.
🍾 Didier Doué (Montgueux)
A singular terroir between Chablis and the Côte des Blancs gives birth to stunningly mineral, textural Chardonnay. Didier Doué’s approach is old-school, minimal intervention, and fiercely terroir-driven. His bottles speak of land, light, and tradition—no gimmicks, just greatness.
🍾 André Beaufort (Ambonnay & Polisy)
The godfather of biodynamic Champagne, Beaufort turned away from chemicals in 1969—decades before it became a trend. His wines, now carried forward by his sons, are spiritual, expressive, and unmistakably unique. A cult name among artisan Champagne lovers.
We’ll taste at least 12 bottles across these three producers, accompanied by thoughtful pairings and good conversation.
⚠️ RSVP via Meetup first. You will receive a message with payment details. Your spot is only confirmed after payment is received.
Let’s raise a glass to craftsmanship, terroir, and wines that whisper (and sometimes shout!) their story.
See you there!
