About the Film

Inspired once again by the cryptic prose of Thomas Pynchon, One Battle After Another is a wild, high-energy paranoia thriller. Grotesque, funny, and sharp, the film explores themes of activism, authoritarianism, and fatherhood through the eyes of Bob – a disheveled ex-revolutionary (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) trying to stay hidden while protecting his daughter.

With stunning visuals shot in old-school VistaVision, a powerful score by Jonny Greenwood, and standout performances (including Sean Penn as a twisted ICE colonel), this is being hailed as one of Anderson’s finest works, standing proudly alongside There Will Be Blood and Boogie Nights.
