The Films to Watch series returns with its 11th edition — and this time we’re diving into the dark, baroque world of Guillermo del Toro with his long-awaited take on Frankenstein.

Based on Mary Shelley’s iconic novel, this film is anything but another remake. Del Toro brings his signature style — lush visuals, gothic emotion, and deeply human monsters — in what many are calling the crowning achievement of his career. With Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein and Mia Goth as Elizabeth, the film explores fatherhood, loneliness, and the emotional weight of creation through a rich, theatrical lens.

We’ll meet at 20:00 at the bar inside Rialto VU for a drink and a casual chat. The screening starts at 20:45.

Expect a film that’s intense, operatic, visually stunning, and full of soul — a dark fairytale about love, pain, and the monsters we create.
