Exhibition Visit: Soft Power and Connecting Threads at the RWA

Come and join us for an afternoon exploring two exhibitions at the RWA.

Soft power: lives told through textile art investigates the ways in which cloth and textiles can tell the stories of women across cultures. It "share[s] intimate and emotional portrayals of self-expression while making bold statements about empowerment and change."

Connecting threads is a companion exhibition where four RWA academicians explore the drawn, painted and sewn line. It promises to be "a reflective exhibition of meditative rhythms and intricate mappings".

After seeing the exhibitions we'll get together in the cafe for refreshments and to compare our impressions.
