Playful Valentine Love Notes — For Ourselves & Each Other with chocolate fun

This Valentine season, we’re creating a cozy, childlike, and meaningful space to celebrate love — starting with ourselves.

Together, we’ll spend the evening making and sharing handmade valentines in a way that blends gentle reflection, creativity, and playful joy.

✨ What we’ll do

1. Decorate our Valentine pouches
   Each person will decorate a large keepsake pouch — using collage, words, stamps, and simple art materials — to hold the valentines made and received during the evening. Think of it as a container for love, notes, and small surprises.
2. Create a Valentine to ourselves
   We’ll take quiet time to make a beautiful, ornate, deeply personal valentine for ourselves. This part is reflective and meaningful — a chance to honor where we are in our lives and what we want to offer ourselves moving forward.
   (You’ll keep this private unless you choose to share.)
3. Make playful, childlike valentines for each other
   Next, we’ll shift into something lighter and fun — creating small, whimsical valentines inspired by the ones we made as kids. Think simple phrases, sweet jokes, and joyful designs.

Each of these valentines will be placed into everyone else’s pouch, so by the end of the night, each person goes home with a full collection of surprise notes made just for them.
