Heritage, Coffee, Cake - Guided Tour of Gloucester Docks

Details
Join me for a guided walk through Britain’s most inland port, Gloucester Docks. Discover the rich maritime history and explore original buildings that have stood for nearly two centuries.
Hopefully there'll be time for me to join you for a quick coffee, but I need get to the lunch venue (separate event) by 1 PM.
Cost: Free
Meeting Place
We’ll meet Meet outside The Waterways Museum, The Docks, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, GL1 2EH. If you’re late, you’ll need to catch up with the walking tour already in progress.
Parking Suggestion
The easiest place I’ve found to park is the Eastgate Centre Car Park. Its address is: Eastgate Shopping Centre, Eastgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 1PA. The council’s website says the main entrance is via Brunswick Road. (Sat Nav: GL1 1XN). Last time I used Google Maps and found it OK by putting Eastgate Centre Car Park as the location. The maximum cost for all day parking is £8 and lesser times are cheaper. It can sometimes take a little while to find a car park.
From their website
Take a guided walk around Britain’s most inland port. Soon to celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2027, many of the original buildings are still standing in this once bustling port. Find out about the history and significance of the port up to the present day.
