Celebrate the arrival of spring with one of the Garden’s most loved traditions — our annual Easter Arts and Sculpture Festival. Set amongst the blossom, bright spring growth and winding Garden paths, the Festival brings together local artists, first‑time exhibitors, skilled demonstrators and hands‑on creative workshops for visitors of all ages.
Whether you love contemporary ceramics, thought‑provoking outdoor sculpture, bold graphic art or simply being immersed in creativity surrounded by nature, this year’s Festival offers a rich and joyful mix.

## What to Expect

### A Full House of Talented Artists

This year we welcome an exciting combination of returning favourites and artists exhibiting with us for the first time. New artists include:
Pam Moolman (sculpture), Flora De Ospina (stained glass), Laura Fox (lino cut) and Sarah Hanrahan (fine art).
We also welcome a group of UWE art students showing open‑air sculptures for the very first time — always full of fresh ideas and unexpected creativity.

### Live Demonstrations

Visitors can enjoy free demonstrations and mini workshops throughout the weekend:

  • Demonstrations and mini workshops:

  • Tez Roberts – potter’s wheel demonstrations and have‑a‑go sessions

  • David Davidge – stone carving demonstrations with tools to try

  • Maya Wolf – willow weaving workshops (Easter Sunday & Monday only)

Demonstration only:

  • Geoff Hannis – green woodworking on a traditional foot‑powered lathe

All demonstrations are included in admission.

### Art Throughout the Garden

Artworks will be displayed across the main Garden, the café and the Linnaeus Study Room.
Featured artists:
Aurora Pozniakow, Kathryn Shorthouse, Martin McGirr, Renée Kilburn, Hayley Jones, Margaret Crump, Karen Edwards, Frankie Hudson and Maya Albalgli.
Graphic artists exhibiting in the Linnaeus Room include Jo Whiteland, Jo West, Sarah Hanrahan and Laura Fox.
Visitors will also find five UWE art students exhibiting their sculptures throughout the Garden — always a surprising and engaging part of the Festival.

### Refreshments

Chandos Deli Café will be open throughout the Festival with lunches, snacks and drinks available every day.

### Plants for Sale

The Friends’ plant sale will run across all four days, offering a wide variety of plants grown by our members.
Come and join us for a long weekend of creativity, colour and springtime inspiration!
