This is a positive, upbeat group where we visit particularly art exhibitions and galleries, but also gardens, museums, vintage and other fairs and maybe chat about it over lunch, coffee or drinks afterwards. We like to keep an optimistic, bright and cheerful vibe.

Cost: **All VE 80 activities ( except Filton Blitz Experience [£4 extra]) are free for existing ticket holders (ticket < 1 year old), don't buy again if you have an existing ticket < 1 year old.
If no existing ticket: £20.00 (10% off) if booked online, which allows free return visits for one year.Meet inside, near the ticket desk. If you’re late, you'll need to come and find us in the museum. I carry a silver backpack handbag.

### Step aboard the last Concorde
The stunning centrepiece of your visit will be Concorde Alpha Foxtrot: the last of the iconic supersonic passenger jets to be built and the last to fly.
Enjoy a spectacular projection show of three short films displayed onto the side of the aircraft telling its remarkable history before you step aboard. Explore the exhibition gallery showcasing a fascinating collection of memorabilia including a pilot’s uniform, model and a flight deck.
Capable of crossing the Atlantic in under three hours, Concorde cruised at over twice the speed of sound and reached an altitude of 60,000ft. Her passengers would marvel at the curvature of the Earth and look up at a blue-black sky, as they travelled at 1320mph and sipped Champagne on the edge of space.

### See the Bristol Freighter, Bolingbroke 9048 and meet Conservation Volunteers
Situated in a restored Grade II listed WWI aircraft hangar, built around 1915, the latest addition to Aerospace Bristol allows visitors to get up-close to conservation projects. Visitors can explore the Bristol Bolingbroke 9048 and now go on board the Bristol Freighter.
Watch as volunteers work on these historic Bristol aircraft.For over a century, Bristol has been at the forefront of aeronautical and space technology, breaking boundaries to create the fastest, the biggest and the highest. Aerospace Bristol will entertain visitors with stories of human endeavour, individual genius and ordinary people achieving extraordinary things.
## Innovation
Aerospace Bristol uses examples of great innovation, such as Concorde and space flight, to inspire the engineers of tomorrow.
Concorde is a symbol of the UK's ambition, innovation, collaboration and technological achievement. Bristol can safely claim to be the true home of Concorde. The airframe and the engines were largely developed here, the UK assembly line was located here, and all UK Concordes made their maiden flight from Filton's runway.## Learning
