🧺** What to Bring**

Picnic Blanket: Opt for a large, comfortable blanket. I will bring one as well.

Lunch & Snacks: Pack easy-to-eat items like sandwiches, wraps, fruits, and perhaps a charcuterie board. 🥪

Art Supplies: Bring sketchbooks, watercolor sets, brushes, and any other preferred mediums.📒

Hydration: Carry water bottles to stay hydrated.

Sunscreen & Hats: Protect yourselves from the sun, especially during midday.👒

Trash Bags: Ensure you leave the park as clean as you found it. 

🌳 Choosing the Perfect Spot

Piedmont Park offers several scenic areas ideal for a picnic and painting session:

• Oak Hill: Provides shade under oak trees and a peaceful environment.

• The Meadow: Offers expansive green space with views of the Midtown skyline.

• Lake Clara Meer Dock: Features serene water views, perfect for inspiration.  

Note: Some areas may require reservations, especially if you plan to use picnic shelters or pavilions. 

🎨 Painting Activities:

Nature Sketching: Capture the surrounding flora, fauna, and landscapes.

Collaborative Art: Each person starts a drawing and passes it around for others to add to.

Art Challenges: Set timers and themes to create quick, fun sketches.

📸 Capture the Moments

• Photography: Take candid shots of the group and your artworks.

• Time-Lapse Videos: Record the painting process to share on social media.

🚫** Park Guidelines to Remember**

• Alcohol: Only allowed if purchased and consumed at permitted events. 

• Glass Containers: Not permitted in the park.

• Grilling: Allowed only in designated areas using provided grills.

• Clean-Up: Dispose of all trash properly and leave the area tidy.

Everyone brings their current sketchbook or iPad.
• Order Your Favorite Drink
Meet up at a local coffee spot or bring drinks from home if it’s at someone’s place.
• Chill Art Prompts (Optional)
Have a jar of folded mini prompts like:
• “Draw each other café-style”
• “Design a dreamy dessert”
• “Your alter ego barista look”
• “Mood of the week in colors”
• Mini Show & Tell

If people want, they can share a sketch or something they’re proud of (totally optional).

• Cute Photos

Snap some flatlays or candid pics of sketchbooks and drinks for the vibe.

• Vibe: Elegant French café with a quiet, European charm.

• Croissants: Buttery, flaky true French-style croissants, plus almond and pain au chocolat. 🥐

• Why it's perfect: White tile, marble tables, outdoor seating, and an artistic calm perfect for journaling or chatting with the girls.

🔁 Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. Due to limited spots and pre-purchased supplies, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

However:
💌 You may transfer your ticket to a friend if you’re unable to attend — just notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can update the guest list.
