Multiple Color Eco-Printed Silk with Dyann Alery Black

Create a one of a kind silk scarf — or use your silk as the source of beautiful pieces to frame or in other forms of art! — using the eco-printing method with botanical items and using Alum Acetate as the mordant and iron water as a modifier. There will be many beautiful colors to choose from for your multi-colored silk. Your registration fee includes the $30 kit fee providing the 8 in. x 72 in. silk scarf, eucalyptus leaves of varying kinds, chemicals and other necessary supplies. Students are asked to bring plenty of botanical items.
