Oil paints are one of the most popular artistic mediums. They are versatile but it can be a struggle to pick up. All the different equipments such us linseed oil and solvent can be confusing for beginners.

If you thought of trying out oil painting for the first time, this workshop is the right place for you. You will learn about the “golden rules” for oil painting such as “fat over lean” and “thick over thin”. Also through color mixing exercise it will bring your understanding of color to a new level.

One of the characteristics of oil paints is the long drying time, which means you will need two to three sessions to finish your painting. Patience will be paid off when you see the final painting!

Cost: €45 per workshop (materials included)(3 hours)
An easel, a wooden palette, oil paints, brushes, a canvas, solvent, linseed oil will be provided to each participant.
