“Art Lessons at The Coffee Shop” Meetup - Flower Watercolor Painting

Hello everyone,

Thank you for joining this group! In this meetup, I will be teaching how to sketch flowers and paint in watercolor. This event will be on Saturday morning (2/24) from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The location is at a cafe in Koreatown, Tom N Tom's coffee shop. There is a free retail parking lot in the back and street parking is available. For this lesson, you will need a No. 2 pencil, pencil sharpener, watercolor paper, or a mixed-media sketchbook. If you bring your art supplies it'll be $15 for the lesson and $20 if you borrow the watercolor supplies (Brush, watercolor paper, watercolor). For now, the lesson meetups will be scheduled depending on the demand and my schedule. Hope to see you there. Message me if you have any questions.

For this lesson meeting, I will be going over the basics of sketching and painting. The attendee limit for the meeting is 6 max. The cost for this meetup is only $15. My normal rate for art lessons is $65 hr on Wyzant (tutoring website). To deter last-minute cancellations or no-shows, I'm implementing this system. Please let the host know if you will not make it at least a few days ahead. If a member has a pattern of no-shows after RSVPing, the member may be placed on the waitlist or removed from attending future meetups.
