WYEP Summer Music Festival: Sammy Rae, Dehd, Fantastic Cat, Jack Swing, Colatura

The WYEP Summer Music Festival takes place on June 21st in Schenley Plaza, and will feature Sammy Rae & The Friends, Dehd, Fantastic Cat, Jack Swing, and Colatura.

Visitors are encouraged to bring portable chairs, picnic style items, etc. so they can really relax and enjoy an afternoon and evening of live music.

MEETUP Considerations
Because we expect a large turnout for this event (although we'll have a better idea once we know the weather forecast), we'll incorporate some flexibility as well as indoor options in case of inclement weather.

Everyone should bring portable chairs so the group can decide where they'd like to sit on the Schenley Plaza lawn, or move around depending on the shade, how loud the music is, how close they'd like to be to the stage, etc. Picnic style items are also OK.

For those that may be interested, there is a related Meetup group gathering beginning at 12 PM with options to check out Carnegie Museum of Art and/or Carnegie Museum of Natural History which will be open until 5 PM. We expect at least 10 people will be able to get into Carnegie Museums for free. There is also an option to check out the nearby Phipps Conservatory Summer Flower Show and Tropical Forest Panama which is also open until 5 PM. Other options include an urban art hike, lunch at a nearby restaurant, etc. before the WYEP Summer Music Festival.
