Please join the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend concert full of tradition, beauty, and joy. In this concert, 14-year-old violinist Himari, a once-in-a-generation talent, makes her Pittsburgh debut with Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto. The program also honors Johann Strauss’ 200th birthday with “The Waltz King,” conducted with all the charm, wit, and elegance Manfred Honeck brings to his interpretations of music from his home. It’s the perfect way to make memories with the whole family for Thanksgiving weekend.

**Meetup Considerations**

1. For those that wish to sit together, please gather at the Heinz Hall Box Office at 1:15 PM sharp so the group can buy tickets together and take advantage of any discounts (likely 25% off) that might be available. We expect people will pay around $25-$38 per tickets depending on whether they prefer to sit on the Orchestra Floor or Balcony.
2. It is also OK if people purchase 25% off discount tickets on Light Up Night, November 22. FYI, here is a list of all [Light Up Discount Ticket Offers](https://culturaldistrict.org/pages/lightup). With this approach, people can buy 25% off tickets in advance (with promo code LIGHTUPNIGHT on November 22) and then request to be reseated when they meet the rest of the group before the concert begins.
3. People can bring cash so one person can place the order to speed up the ticketing process (once we have a firm headcount) so others can continue to socialize as much as possible before going inside Heinz Hall.
4. After getting the tickets together the group can go inside Heinz Hall for various pre-concert activities that include a pre-concert discussion, opportunity to meet several Pittsburgh Symphony musicians, and pre-concert performance in the Heinz Hall Lobby. People may also wish to grab a drink and get some great photos.
5. Please be mindful that it will be easier to meet new people in the group before Heinz Hall gets crowded.
6. Depending on the interests of the group, we may go for a drink/dinner after the concert and check out the Holiday Market near the intersection of 7th Street and Penn Avenue which is next to Heinz Hall. Please note that the Holiday Market has been relocated to the Cultural District this year because of the ongoing renovations in Market Square.
7. As always, it is also fine if you'd like to attend this concert on your own with family/friends instead.
