This event is planned to take advantage of RAD Pass where Allegheny County/Carnegie Library card holders may reserve a one-time free admission pass online per year for up to 4 people at Mattress Factory Contemporary Art Museum on select days during November 2025. For example, people can visit the Mattress Factory several times as one of the guests with their family/friend's RAD Pass reservations.
By taking advantage of RAD Pass, people can save compared to regular admission charges of $22 Adult, $20 Senior, $17 Student, and $0 Member. With this approach, people may see first-hand the great work and think about becoming (or gifting) a Mattress Factory Membership to enjoy year-round activities.
The Meetup will begin in the main lobby (509 Jacksonia St) as the group gathers from 12:15-12:30 PM and discuss how much time they might have to spend during the rest of the afternoon. This will allow for a firm headcount to make RAD Pass reservations for everyone. For example, one person can reserve a RAD Pass for 4 people.
Once at the Mattress Factory, the group may check out all of the exhibits located inside 3 buildings at a leisurely pace since the Mattress Factory is open until 5 PM.
Depending on the interests of the group and weather, we may check out Randyland, other interesting places in the Northside, or get something to eat/drink at a nearby restaurant such as Monterey Pub and Commonplace Coffee.
