This event is planned to check out the very timely theatre production of George Orwell's classic dystopian novel "1984" that has been adapted for the stage by Robert Owens, Wilton E. Hall Jr., and William A. Miles Jr with recent productions by regional theatre companies all across the country. This local production is being staged by Pittsburgh's newest theatre company, [Playbox Productions](https://www.playboxproductions.com/) during December 4-7 at Three Stories: Pierce Studio, 937 Liberty Avenue, downtown.
