Join us for a small Gallery Weekend gathering at Galerie Sara Lily Perez with Berlin-based Japanese painter Ryo Kato.

This is an intimate evening for people who enjoy contemporary art, painting, conversation, and meeting others in Berlin’s cultural scene. The group will be limited so the atmosphere stays personal and relaxed.

Ryo Kato’s exhibition Neuer Glaube brings together figuration and abstraction, beauty and violence, ecological anxiety and the question of what belief can mean after collapse. His paintings include roses, bodily fragments, animal forms, smoke, radiant color, and unstable landscapes, images that feel at once tender, urgent, and unsettled.

During the evening, guests will have time to view the exhibition, hear a short introduction to Kato’s work, and speak informally with the artist and gallery team over drinks and small bites.

What to expect
18:30 — Arrival, drinks, informal welcome
19:00 — Short introduction to the exhibition
19:15 — Artist conversation and open viewing
20:00 — Drinks, conversation, and networking

This event is especially suited for people interested in contemporary painting, Berlin galleries, Japanese artists, ecology in art, philosophy, spirituality, and collecting art in a more thoughtful way.

Spaces are limited to keep the evening personal. Please only RSVP if you are genuinely planning to attend.
