A Call to Artists -- Old School Square Center for the Arts presents everyone's beloved & favorite 6 X 6 Exhibition & Sale

INFORMATION ABOUT 6X6

Old School Square Center for the Arts is pleased to host their 9th annual 6x6 Exhibition & Sale featuring original artwork from around the country. Participating artists are asked to donate original works of art in conformance with the 6x6 guidelines (see details below). The pieces will be on exhibit from May 29th and will be sold on May 31st. This is an opportunity to showcase your work and buy a piece from your favorite artist. The artwork will be juried. Proceeds will benefit OSSCFTA, partnered with the Delray Chamber Education Fund to support the 9 public Delray Beach Schools for arts related programming.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTWORK

2D works may not exceed 6 x 6 inches.
3D works may not exceed 6 x 6 x 6 inches.
Artwork must be flat-backed and ready to hang.
Framed works are accepted but framing is not required - outer edge of the frame may not exceed 6 x 6.
No staples on the sides of the canvas
All original media accepted - no unfixed charcoals/pastels, wet paint or giclees.
No sexually explicit artwork will be accepted
Artwork larger than 6 x 6 inches will not be accepted
Established and emerging artists, along with Students are welcome to participate

JUDGING WILL BE DONE BY PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place

IMPORTANT DATES

May 17th - All artwork must be received by 4 p.m.
May 29th - Student Showcase & Art Juried from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
May 30th - VIP Event
May 31st- Exhibition Sale Registration at 4:30 p.m. - Lottery style sale promptly at 6 p.m.
