I will be getting to the museum around 5:30 and will try to get a table for us to sit at. Looking forward to seeing you all tonight! If you have questions or can't find me text me at 617-935-2213.

First Fridays at the MFA has music, dancing, art making and cocktails. The only thing that could make the evening better is going with a group of friends!

This First Friday features a poetry performance by Boston's Poet Laureate, Emmanuel Oppong-Yeboah. It is also presented to celebrate the exhibit Martin Puryear: Nexus.

The museum is open so the exhibit can be seen. There are also several other exhibits worth seeing, including Rituals for Remembering: María Magdalena Campos-Pons and Ana Mendieta, exploring the work of these two Cuban artists. (To see the Winslow Homer exhibit, timed tickets will need to be purchased separately.)

  • Tickets are free for members.
  • The event is $27 for non-members.
  • I have reserved 4 member tickets.
