Creating masks — Ukrainian New Year's carnival "Malanka"🎭🎨🖼️🖌️♥️
Details
Hi creatives,
Let’s carry the holiday spirit a little longer! Join us to create masks for Malanka, the traditional Ukrainian New Year’s carnival.
What to expect:
At this event we’ll introduce you to the world of Malanka and create together masks of the main characters of the carnival. We can show you how to create masks out of paper mache clay, classical paper mache, cardboard and some everyday materials. The most famous characters of the Malanka carnival are Malanka herself (a young woman), Vasyl (a young man),a goat, a grandma, a grandpa, a bear and a devil. We'll give you more information about each of them at the event so that you can choose a character for your mask.
You don’t need to have any special skills to take part in this event — just your curiosity and openness to creative exploration. ✨
