Life Drawing at the Frankfurt Art Bar (September!)

Hello art lovers! After a little Sommer Pause, we are back at the Frankfurt Art Bar this month!

Come and join us for a 2 hour a casual session where you can practice drawing from a live model, no matter your skill level. Whether you want to play with different materials, improve your anatomy, or just try figure drawing for the first time and hang out with some nice people, everyone is welcome :)

Please remember to bring cash for the bar and the donation hat. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early so you can set up comfortably.

What happens in the session?

The model will be in underwear and will pose on the stage. Participants draw from the seating area. We recommend bringing your own materials, but basic drawing supplies are also available.

Poses are between 1 and 10 minutes long, and there will be a break halfway through.

This is an untutored session, so you are free to draw as you like and we encourage you to be creative and experimental. If you are new to life drawing or just feel a little lost, you are welcome to ask Tabi for some tips!

How much does it cost?

There is no fixed entry fee, instead we ask people to donate what they can to support the model, the organisers, and the costs of running the event. We also ask that participants please order something from the bar during their visit (they have an extensive menu, you will surely find something you like!)

How do I book?

It's not necessary to make a reservation, you can just turn up on the day. First come first served, so we recommend arriving early to secure a spot.

Can I model for you?

Who are you?

Tabi and Elena :) Tabi was a student and assistant teacher at the Academy of Fine Art, an school in Bad Homburg with a focus on realistic drawing and painting. She came to love the practice of life drawing, as an activity to do with friends and as a way to improve as an artist, and now wants to share the joy that it can bring with others. Elena is an enthusiastic hobbyist who enjoys bringing people together through creative activities.
