"It is bittersweet to announce that the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel has been sold to the Marriott company. They are planning a $25 million renovation beginning in November (after we leave), and will be closed all of 2019. It is exciting news for the property and wonderful staff, but it means that we will NOT be in Virginia next year..."
