ART/TECH/SALON
GRANT GROUP/PROPOSAL FUNDING
These are a series of monthly trans-disciplinary meetups, social networking, open source coding, installations, fun, performances, discussions, presentations, expressions, and demonstrations in art and technology at various locations and venues over Prosecco and refreshments. We will come together at venues and will exhibit individual work in addition to holding a grant and proposal funding workshop using the pivot.cos.com grant database. With an acute interest in the direction of technology, interactive media, DIY culture, new jobs and services, design, architecture, urbanism, the plastic arts, narrative, performing arts, telematic culture, and the new interactive trans-media vehicles these fast and furious labs aim at a type of DIY show and tell that will allow the practitioners in these fields to enrich their experiences and make contact with like minded, energetic people. In an attempt to pair off old tech with new tech and arts (and possible social contacts and jobs) we aim at types of hybridity with other scintillating minds.
