Exhibition Reception at UA Art Museum - Thursday, Jan. 22
Details
IMPROMPTU FIELD TRIP: Join us at the University of Arizona Museum of Art for the opening of Bailey Doogan: Ways of Seeing! This exhibition serves as a survey of work by Bailey Doogan — a celebrated Tucson artist, graphic designer and esteemed professor emerita at UA. For the first time, selections from each phase of the artist’s career are displayed together, highlighting her artistic processes and evolution. This reception, made possible with generous support from Alan Willenbrock and Dr. Peggy Jones, is free and open to the public. Explore the exhibition, hear remarks by those who curated it, and enjoy light refreshments in the courtyard. Registration is appreciated by the venue for planning: here.
PLUS: The reception is 5-7pm and those who wish to discuss and/or draw together will meet afterwards at the nearby Trident Grill, 2033 E. Speedway Blvd. Optional.
