It's the perfect time of year for an outdoor field trip! Bring a pencil and a sketchbook or your favorite medium to practice urban sketching, plein air painting, or take reference photos at the magical Tucson Botanical Gardens.
WHO?
Meet with the Art Verve community in this Tucson gem tucked away in midtown. It's an informal meetup so you can explore at your own pace. All levels are welcome!

Tucson Botanical Gardens
2150 N Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85712
We'll meet near the entrance around 12:30 PM then make the rounds. There are several art exhibits going on in addition to the butterflies and diverse desert flora. We typically regroup near the Gift Shop at 2:30 PM to share sketches and discuss.
IMPT: Tickets for entry range from $15 to $19 depending on age or military status, or free for members. Although you may still be able to buy at the gate, the gardens have a reservation time slot to order in advance here. Once you're inside, you can wander as long as you like.
