Fuel and Flow: Rhythmical Drawing and Conversations for Self-Exploration

A space to explore, inquire, and expand your emotional power, your vibrant, curious self through artistic & creative tools. This is a free collaborative event by Gabriela 'Ina Leah' Fernandez, MFA, BA Psy (Indonesia) and Dr. Anne Hsu, founder of Self-Leadership Skills (https://www.selfleadershipskills.com/).

In the rhythmical drawing session, you’ll explore the meditative power of drawing as a unique activity (This is a short taster of the proper in depth class that happens every 2nd Saturday). Experience the meditative and expressive process to focus on each stroke, the motion of your hand, and the texture of your feelings as they begin to take form on paper (responding to the music!). The lines you create will be entirely your own, resulting in a drawing you’ll take home. Let's celebrate any 'happy mistakes' (think Bob Ross vibes!). You will learn how to embrace the entire drawing process without pressure, and leave with not only your unique artwork but also a renewed sense of creativity and wellness.

With Anne's exploration session, we will do conversations and games in the theme of confidence, curiosity, and connection. Anne will prepare fun conversation prompts to help us connect with each other in pairs, or activities that address our experience of trying something new and find understanding about ourselves.

Schedule
1 pm - Introduction to the session
1.10 pm - Gabriela’s Rhythmical Drawing
1.50 pm - Anne’s Inner Life Exploration
2.30 pm - Closing chats and Invitations
2.45- ... - stay as long as you want to socialize and chat with each other, the venue closes late in the evening.

Please buy a drink if you can at Nexgen Bar – there are non-alcoholic options too. The venue also has other options of food and gelato and pizzaaa, and it’s open until late–you’re welcome to stay and socialize even longer!

Accessibility
EPK Social is an accessible space for wheelchair and mobility aid users. For neurodiverse attendees, there is an open space just outside of the venue for sensory rest, and feel free to use headphones / stim toys during our event!
