Do you love art and art galleries? Would you like to know more about art made in the past and the art made today? Would you like a helping hand with visiting and understanding permanent collections and temporary exhibitions in London?
Whether your interests lie in techniques, portraits, costumes, art styles or just good stories in art, chances are these will be covered here in the course of a varied programme of online talks and occasional in person study days at the National Gallery with me or occasionally one of my fellow art historians. Join me for a look at this Autumn's blockbuster show at the National Gallery : the Neo Impressionists from the Kröller-Müller Museum in the Netherlands. Its a story of the radical artists who learned from the Impressionists but took their example in a very new, surprising and controversial direction.
