Paint Party on Nokomis Beach!

For this project we will be painting a seascape with a palm tree in the foreground. On the trunk of the palm tree, we will paint directional signs pointing in different directions. I have added two images so we will end up with something similar along those lines. Each artist will customize their work by picking names of places that are significant to them and paint those names on the signs Maybe places you've lived, or loved, or where your extended family is, etc. For my example, I picked Venice, Akron, Blacksburg and Ocacoke. You can include state abbreviations ("Akron, OH") and the mileage from Venice/your home to each location if you look the mileage up in advance (or leave space to add it later). Hang your work of art in your lanai or Tiki Bar (even if it is just a just the first step towards your very own Tiki Bar) or give it to a friend up north to make them jealous!
