Welcome to Toka Studio – a creative space in Lisbon offering hands-on, inspiring art workshops, courses and events for All. From first-time painters to experienced creatives, everyone is welcome to explore, grow and connect through art.
Toka Studio was founded by João Batarda and Svenja Gres, two artists who met at Lisbon’s renowned independent art school Ar.Co. Their friendship and shared passion for creative expression led to the birth of this studio — a space rooted in experimentation, artistic community and joy.
We also work as art tutors in co-living environments with a focus on mental well-being and creativity, and this perspective shapes everything we do. Whether you're joining us for a painting course or a group event, you’ll find thoughtful guidance, warm energy and room to truly express yourself.
