What we’re about
Art2Action, Inc. creates, develops, produces and presents devised theater work, interdisciplinary performances, performative acts and progressive cultural organizing. We support women artists, artists of color, queer or trans-identified artists, and creative allies. We are dedicated to cultural equity and innovation, artistic quality and community value, performativity and impact. Based in Tampa, FL and New York City, Art2Action is a non-profit organization, founded in 2010 by Andrea Assaf. Whether working as a producing and touring company, or as a presenter, community engagement with diverse constituencies is central to all of our residencies, productions and creative projects.
