What we're about
Artbees (http://artbees.co.uk/) Creative Network (http://artbees.co.uk/about/) is an open community of developers, designers and writers building resources for a better web, regardless of brand, browser, or platform.
A unique occasion to hear how to open up new opportunities in the fastest growing markets in the world.
This unique series of events brings together distinguished creatives to share their experience and guidance. If you are interested in understanding what opportunities exist around the globe today and how these can be accessed, then this is certainly for you.
Each event is free to attend.
Our aim is to develop a unique creative community centred all around the universities in Edinburgh, Scotland. Creative Weekends will be hosted at the University of Edinburgh. The Weekends will comprise a celebration of Scotland’s Creative connections and a sharing of information on how best Scottish creatives can successfully build their ideas beyond our order. Together we can continue to serve the greater good. It starts here, with you. Anyone can contribute and each person who does makes us stronger.
We will hear from world-class international creative leaders who will share their own, invaluable, personal experience of what works and what to avoid when building an international business.
Edinburgh Creative Network will provide access to their members across the globe who have volunteered to provide assistance to attendees during the week. This is the first year that Creative Weekends (http://artbees.co.uk/creative-weekends/) will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland and we are expecting to attract a range of leading Scottish creative figures and entrepreneurs.
Invite your friends to join the group and spread the word. We look forward to meeting you soon at one of our fantastic Creative Weekends in Edinburgh (https://meetup.com/artbees/events)!

The Artbees Network (http://edinburgh.digital/network/) was formed in 2016 with a mission to support and facilitate the success of its creative industries members. We do this by engaging and representing the sector; providing development, training and promotion; and by securing commercial opportunities.
The core of Artbees is its monthly networking events, held on the first Friday of every month. This is a chance to meet peers from across the sector, the majority of our members are therefore those working in creative fields such as design, photography, film, animation, music, fashion, art, crafts, digital, advertising, marketing, architecture, or television.

All our events are organised by Artbees volunteers during their free-time, after working hours, and we choose venues that offer to host us for free. That is a lot of goodwill and thoughtfulness, but because we are no business nor is this our occupation, we kindly ask that by participating you agree to understand the simplicity and limits of our initiative. Despite our best efforts and achievements to date, we are in no way liable for any risk, damage or disappointment that may result from our activities.
Due to the voluntary nature of our organisation, contributors and venues, event dates and details may change with short notice. It is your responsibility to check the date and time before arriving, and to enable automatic group notifications on your Meetup profile settings so you are always notified of any changes:
Pictures and video may be taken to promote our activities on Meetup and other websites. If you wish to be censored for any reason, kindly inform the event organiser.
