At last we are getting to the Cuba Mall art precinct with Mary-Jane who will take us to her top picks of current exhibitions from the exciting plethora of galleries
Starting at the Toi Poneke Gallery with Dr. Cristopher Ramos Flores: Little Portals an audio and visual ensemble. Letterboxes acting as a miniature audio and visual orchestra performing works composed for the exhibition.
Around the corner to {Suite} with Wayne Youle: A decade of portraits: formal and stylistic themes with a nod to the pop-art aesthetic .
A wee walk to Bartley & Coy with Roger Mortimer: Tautuku Lodge, presenting a complex thought provoking of mapping cultural identity, power and subversion.
Tucked beside is Envy Gallery with Seconds, organised by Shiraz Sadikeen: an exciting group show with new and established artists
Around the corner to well established McCleavy Gallery.
If time we will get to Bowen St Galleries with a rare chance to see 30 works from their stable: You Wont Believe Your Eyes,,, A Visual Miscellany.
