Join us on what looks to be a beautiful spring evening for the monthly Dupont ArtWalk.
We’ll start at Hillyer in the alley behind the Phillips Collection as they celebrate the opening of the new exhibition Modern Movements organized in partnership with the Art Museum of the Americas – one of my favorite museums in DC. The exhibition will be on view during the months of April and May and will be held in all three galleries.
From there (around 6:20) we’ll head to Studio Gallery and then the wonderful new Vika where Ram Brisueño, a Baltimore- based, self-taught collagist, opens his show. (That’s his artwork above.) His collage paintings use flowers blooming from, out of, and surrounding human figures to represent a halo-like presence of our best selves.
From there we’ll have a choice between the Korean Cultural Center, The Washington Hilton, Dupont Underground and the Middle East Institute. We will be walking a bit but the weather should be nice for it.

Hope you can join us!
