Blue Moon

Set in the early 40s, the story revolves around Lorenz Hart, the lyricist in the Rodgers and Hart song writing duo, with songs like “My Funny Valentine” and “Blue Moon” to his credit. Ethan Hawke is the charismatic Hart, whose antics the film follows through a single night in a Manhattan bar, in a way that is reminiscent of Linklater’s “Before Sunrise”, also starring Hawke.
