The Real You the Japan foundation 2026 Festival

We will be watching The Real You, from award-winning director Yuya Ishii, which takes us into a near future where a man grapples with his mother’s death and a digital recreation of her, exploring truth and technology.

We’ll meet at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in the café area at 5:50 PM, then proceed to the cinema. Seats aren’t numbered, so we’ll grab spots together. Afterward, we’ll head for drinks, discussion, and a fun review.
