Fuori + Q&A with Valeria Golino Italian film festival
Details
We will watch Fuori, skilfully directed by Mario Martone, an utterly convincing, raw and moving portrait of the brilliant and complex writer Goliarda Sapienza. Set during the 1980s, when Sapienza was largely unrecognised, the film is anchored by powerhouse performance by Golino, who previously directed the recent, acclaimed television adaptation of Sapienza’s own Art of Joy.
My seat is C4 but please choose a seat you prefer.
I will be by the seating area close to the ticket office from 5. After the screening we will go discuss the film at the BFI riverfront bar.
