Developing Artificial Intelligence — Netherlands

This is a nationwide group for people who are interested not only in using artificial intelligence, but in understanding, designing and developing it.

The group brings together people interested in topics such as:

Artificial intelligence and machine learning
Deep learning and neural networks
Large language models and transformers
Reinforcement learning and intelligent agents
New AI architectures and algorithms
Generative AI
AI systems and applications
Mathematical foundations of AI
Experimental ideas and research

The aim is to create a meeting place where people can exchange ideas, discuss new developments, present their own work, explore research questions and develop new AI concepts together.

You do not need to be an academic researcher or professional AI engineer to participate. What matters is genuine curiosity and an interest in understanding how AI works and how it can be improved.

Meetings may include talks, discussions, paper discussions, demonstrations, research ideas and collaborative projects.

The group is nationwide in the Netherlands. Meetings can take place in different cities and may also be held online.

Students, researchers, engineers, data scientists, mathematicians, entrepreneurs, independent thinkers and other serious AI enthusiasts are all welcome.

The central question is not only: “What can we do with AI?”

It is also: “What new AI can we create?”
