    18:10 – 18:15; A welcome note from Organiser & host/sponsor

18:15 - 18:45; Speaker I: Rinku Sharma, Founder of Techeroes gGmbH & Smart Natives UG
Talk: Rewriting the Future: AI-Native Storytelling as a Framework for Cognitive Resilience
Abstract: Today’s children are not digital natives. They are volatility natives — raised in a fractured attention economy, immersed in AI-generated realities, and constantly scrolling. At Techeroes, we believe education must evolve into an ethical, narrative-driven design system. In this talk, we present a modular learning framework where children collaborate with and challenge AI tools, using storytelling and narrative avatars to build cognitive resilience, critical doubt, and ethical imagination.

18:45 - 19:15; Speaker II: Dr. Joerg Richter, Nantoka GmbH
Talk: Using Mistral AI Agents with Function Calling
Abstract: This presentation by Dr. Jörg Richter introduces Mistral AI Agents, emphasizing their distinction from traditional API calls. While APIs deliver standalone responses, Agents retain conversational context and utilize connectors (such as web search or code interpreters) and function calling to interact dynamically with external or local data sources. Through practical examples, the presentation illustrates how Agents achieve these capabilities using Mistral’s AI platform, La Platforme.

    19:15 - 19:45; Break (food & drinks)

19:45 - 20:15; Speaker III: Dr. Vasileios iosifidis, DB Schenker
Talk: Deep-Noῦs: Stay up-to-date with Personalized Research Digests
Abstract: Deep-Noῦs is an AI-powered service designed to reduce research overload. It can process any scientific paper from any source or field, apply intelligent curation, and deliver personalized summaries that highlight the most relevant insights. By combining flexible ingestion with personalized recommendations, Deep-Noῦs helps researchers, students, engineers, innovators, and lifelong learners stay updated with new knowledge in less than a minute each day.

Having spent the last three years building AI systems and leading the transformation of AI platforms at scale, the speaker has repeatedly seen the same three critical gaps derail AI initiatives across organisations of all sizes.
In this talk, the speaker will share the three essential pillars that separate AI success stories from expensive failures:
    - Leveraging AI coding assistants for immediate productivity gains
    - Implementing observability and evaluation frameworks that prevent costly mistakes
    - Building high-performing AI teams through strategic talent development

Talk: Why do 67% of AI projects fail? And what leads to success?
Abstract: Despite massive investments and excitement around AI, the reality is stark: most AI projects fail to deliver meaningful business value. Our recent survey of 64 experienced AI practitioners from the DACH region confirms this challenge, revealing that 67% of AI projects fail, with generative AI projects showing even higher failure rates according to MIT research reaching 95%. This talk examines what drives these failures and what characterizes the successful minority. Based on detailed practitioner responses, we'll explore why organizational challenges consistently outweigh technical ones in determining project outcomes, and examine how generative AI's rapid prototyping capabilities create unique management challenges.
