Machine Learning Meetup - CognitionX & IDEA London

We'll have short talks from each of our guests on how they're working with Machine Learning to solve difficult problems.The talks will be followed by a panel discussion, hosted by our CEO, Charlie Muirhead.

After a string of successful Deep Learning-focused events held in partnership with the IDEA London crew, we're shifting the focus on to other areas in the field of ML.

The Panel:

Toby Cockayne, Co-Founder & Head of Product, Sportr
Sportr is an athletic recruitment network dedicated to connecting athletes to agents and fans worldwide. It uses natural language processing to curate and generate unique real-time sports content for a variety of businesses. Toby was awarded LSE Entrepreneur of the Year and Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2015.

Dr. Sybil Wong, Data Scientist & Head of Marketing and Communications, Sparrho
Sparrho is a startup combining human and machine intelligence to disseminate scientific knowledge.
Before Sparrho, Sybil was SVP Business Development & Director of OneStart, the world’s largest biotech and healthcare startup accelerator, at the Oxbridge Biotech Roundtable.

Naré Vardanyan, Founder, MindBin Technologies
Mindbin technologies builds artificially intelligent solutions for emotional well-being. Naré is a Master of Politics, Security and Integration and started the company this year at the age of 25.

Jorge Cardosa, Quantitative Neuroradiology Lecturer, UCL
Jorge works in the Translational Imaging Group (TIG) of UCL Centre for Medical image Computing (CMIC) and the Dementia Research Centre as a Lecturer, developing new methods for medical image analysis.
