This event is a direct collaboration with the ‘Machine Intelligence Garage’ arm of Digital Catapult. It represents the first time we are tackling a particular theme, in this case how the manufacturing world is leveraging Artificial Intelligence. While this may appear a quite specific domain this world of problems also contains lessons that are applicable to AI generally and to other industries due to the use of multi-variate, time series approaches.
Manufacturing is a challenging domain space which is also ripe with opportunity (to apply AI tooling), to demonstrate this we will be bringing together a series of speakers from start ups, large organisations and academia to discuss the impacts they are making in this area. From the production line to logistics, we will see how sensor based infrastructure can be combined with layers of machine learning to provide a more comprehensive and intelligent manufacturing process.
