The Model is No Longer the System

A little over a year ago, Claude Code heralded the Agentic Age. And in January the field blew up with OpenClaw [A brief moment of silent reflection about proper software practices for the deceased]. Now, with more advanced models and new and improved Agentic Harnesses like Hermes, OpenClaw, Codex, Deepseek Harness, Grok Bot, and Claude Code/Cowork, we are getting inundated with agentic frameworks.

At the same time, Open Weight models, primarily from China, have made tremendous progress in coding and agentic processes.

So the question we will answer on Sep 9 is: Can we get at least the same level of agentic performance from cheaper Open Weight models as we had from the commercial frontier models 8 months ago, which was already pretty good?

And we'll talk about various Open Weight models as well as how to run them locally as well.

Or we might wind up talking about Grok Bot. Who knows? Hoping that everyone will share their personal and technical experience with the Agentic Age so far.
