Title: Hands-On: Advanced Prompt Engineering
Description: Join us for a hands-on User Group session on Advanced Prompt Engineering, where we will go beyond basic prompting and explore practical techniques for building more reliable, structured, and reusable prompts for real-world AI applications.
In this session, attendees will work directly with OpenAI's GPT 5.4 model hosted in Microsoft Foundry. We will provide temporary access keys during the workshop, so participants can connect to the Microsoft Foundry resource and complete the hands-on exercises.
You will learn how to design better prompts, use system and user instructions effectively, structure inputs and outputs, test prompt variations, and apply prompt engineering patterns that can be used in enterprise AI solutions.
No coding experience? No problem.
For attendees who are not coders, we will provide access to the Microsoft Foundry Portal, where you can try the labs and experiment with prompts directly through the portal experience.
