What we’re about

Artificial Intelligencers, n. — any beginners to experts who are willing to both share their personal or professional journeys learning, experimenting, developing, and applying Artificial Intelligence in any form, and support others doing the same.

Artificial Intelligencers is a Nasvhille-based Association of Computing Machinery (https://www.acm.org/) affiliated collective supporting folks at all levels who are exploring building with AI. Just as amateur and professional Victorian era explorers would journey into the wilds and return back to a homebase to share their learnings with peers, we, as modern day AI explorers, would do the same as "Artificial Intelligencers".

So, whether you're wiring up workflows, shipping side/main projects, configuring/coding new ways to express yourself artistically, deep diving into the research, technology, tools, and techniques, or just curious what this stuff can actually do, you're welcome here. We keep it casual, hands-on, and focused on real tools, real demos, and real talk. Come hang out, share and learn something useful or at least interesting, and meet others who are figuring it out too. And, join us over on LinkedIn and in Discord.

ACM is the world's largest computing society, bringing together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field's challenges. You don't have to be a member of ACM to contribute to Artificial Intelligencers. But, if you believe in the mission, please consider joining ACM (https://www.acm.org/membership/join).

  • Ben Winter - An overview of the architecture behind a question-generation using an AI model to create assessments
  • TBD -- Please message Dan & Ram about a project you'd like to share at this or future meetups.

Thank you, Vaco, for generously hosting our AI collective on the odd months of the year! Join us for an informative evening where local professional, amateur, and student community members (including you!) share “wires-out” demos, technical deep-dives, and discussions of AI-related projects or research they are working on, tools and techniques they have tried, or research papers/publications/presentations that they find insightful. This event is for those just starting to explore the technical aspects of AI, experienced AI professionals, and everyone in between. See you there!

We're are maintaining a list of folks who express an interest in sharing what they are working on. So, please let Dan and Ram know if you'd like to share something with the community via a message here on Meetup or in our Discord channel (https://discord.gg/EzAvhYqAdG). And, if you know of hosts or sponsors for our community gatherings.

This event is also cross-promoted on a Luma calendar @ https://luma.com/artificialintelligencers.
