Join us and be inspired by the wonders and mysteries of the night sky!
Star parties are events where amateur astronomers gather under dark skies to share their love of stargazing and enjoy the sky with others.
This is event hosted by the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers.

DVAA members setup and operate a number of telescopes and binoculars, and members of the public are invited to observe through the telescopes.
- Bring your own equipment if you want.
- Be prepared to learn a whole lot about the sky

(Keep an eye on the weather - rain date is Sunday, May 4)

Easy Directions From Rt. 202:
- Rt. 252 North from Rt. 202 at Devon exit - go exactly one mile
- Make sharp left onto dirt/stone road (just after PA Turnpike overpass)
- Look for astronomers setting up on grass. Park on the dirt/stone road only; please don't park in the grass.
Easy Directions From Rt. 23/Rt. 422:
- Follow Rt 23 through the park.
- Make a left turn at the traffic light on Rt 252 South.
- Follow Rt. 252 through the park to the field.
- Turn right on gravel road just before the bridge over the PA turnpike.
- If you pass over PA Turnpike, turn around!
- Look for astronomers setting up on grass. Park on the dirt/stone road only.
Dress warmly - it's cooler at night
For safety reasons, pets are not allowed on the observing field.
To make it easier to find me, I'll be wearing a cowboy hat
And since it will be night, I'll have glow sticks !
