About us
Jinny Street Gallery is a contemporary gallery located in the Jinguumae 2-chome shopping area in Shibuya, an area perfect for a leisurely stroll. The gallery utilizes streetlamp display cases to showcase its art, and its main concept is exploring art while walking through the neighborhood.
Artists exhibiting at Jinny Street Gallery are encouraged to plan an "Artist Walk." This is an event where the exhibiting artist takes visitors on a guided tour of the shopping street, introducing them to the artworks scattered throughout the area. It’s an opportunity for the artist to engage with the audience and discuss their works in a fun and interactive manner.
The curators of the Jinny street gallery exhibitions think about the Artist Walk as an open and unique art experience. They believe that by walking side by side through the neighborhood, artists and participants can interact more intimately, enhancing the value of the art and realizing its boundless potential. The casual stroll through the shopping district that inspired their idea has now transformed into the "Artist Walk," offering a new way to experience the city.

Michibiki Vol.3 is our annual group exhibition, bringing together around 30–40 artists from the Jinny and NININI-NI communities. This year, works have been presented throughout Jinny Street Gallery, set along the streets of Jingumae-Nichome — and now we’re gathering one last time to celebrate the exhibition’s finale.
Join us to experience the show before it closes, connect with fellow artists and creatives, and enjoy a relaxed evening with the Jinny community.

Monthly creatives mixer and closing event for our first exhibition of 2026, Michibiki Vol.3. During the event there will also be food (Taco booth by our friend Tiny & Tomo!) and music on the 2nd floor.
