Walking and drawing: Architecture of Amsterdam North

On Saturday, August 31, we will draw the architecture. Visual artist and teacher Liesje van den Berk guides and challenges you with short drawing exercises.

We draw the big picture and small details of the buildings of architect van Gool (het breed) and Berend Tobia Boeyinga (tuindorp Nieuwendam) and other architects. We also listen and feel the architecture in our environment and record these observations on paper with graphite pencil.

No drawing experience is necessary for this drawing walk. And the drawing materials are provided.

Walking is a way to experience the richness of your environment and make contact with each other. During the walks you will discover new nature, images, places and stories about your neighborhood by looking and listening.
